BUSKING IN DOWNTOWN MADISON
PLAY YOUR MUSIC ON THE SIDEWALK … AND GET PAID!
How much?
We will pay you $40 for a 3 hour session, any day of the week. You can also expect to earn some tips, depending on the day and how many people are on the sidewalk. It’s not unusual, especially on weekends, for good buskers to make over $100!
How do I get involved?
Just sign up for a slot using the Busking Booking Form below. (Please, we ask that you only sign up for one slot per week.) Up to 4 people can play on any given day.
How do I get paid?
After you play, call or send a text to Chris Jesse at 812-701-4546 and he will make arrangements to pay you. (Venmo, Paypal, etc.)
When, and for how long?
We pay for a 3 hour session, between the hours of 10am and 5pm. You need to complete your session by 5:00. (If you’d prefer to play for 2 hours or 1 hour, that’s fine, we will pro-rate the pay.)
How Loud?
We ask that all street performance be acoustic only, no electric amplification.
Where?
There are 8 spots where you can set up and play, all on Main Street in downtown Madison. See location list below in the Busking Booking Form.
